Level 2 Award in Fire Safety (Fire Marshal Training)

The Level 2 Award in Fire Safety (RQF) is a one-day course designed for individuals who are, or intend to become, designated Fire Marshals or Fire Wardens within the workplace. This qualification provides learners with the knowledge and understanding required to manage fire risks, perform safety checks, and assist during emergency situations in compliance with current UK fire safety legislation.

Ideal for those responsible for fire safety in the workplace, this course covers essential topics such as fire prevention, evacuation procedures, fire risk assessments, and the legal responsibilities of employers and employees. The training can be delivered at your workplace or chosen venue, with flexible scheduling available for group bookings.

Course content includes the common causes of workplace fires, how fire and smoke spread, safe evacuation protocols, fire-fighting equipment, enforcement of fire safety laws, and the practical responsibilities of Fire Marshals. Learners will also understand how to conduct a fire safety inspection and deliver a fire safety briefing.

Assessment is conducted through a multiple-choice exam at the end of the training. Successful candidates will receive a nationally recognised Level 2 Award in Fire Safety (RQF) certificate, which remains valid for three years. Refresher training is recommended after this period to maintain up-to-date knowledge.
